Neighborhoods of Georgetown
What is a Neighborhood?
A neighborhood is more than a geographic boundary around a group of homes, its a differentiation of a certain character or spirit of the people that inhabit it.
Strong and cohesive neighborhoods and communities are linked to decreases in crime, better outcomes for children, and improved physical and mental health.
But neighborhood groups don’t just happen; they’re purposed results of the collective effort of its residents. This website is designed to help residents with setting up neighborhood/home owner associations, contact other associations, and provide links to city services.
